Journal of Palliative Medicine

The purpose of JPM is to work toward improved care of the dying through the dissemination of accurate and timely information to academic and community health-care professionals, health-care administrators, and individuals involved in health-policy. JPM will publish original and review articles, editorials, case studies, and policy documents concerned with improving care for the dying. JPM is particularly interested in publishing novel education methods and resources, new approaches to end-of-life service delivery, scientifically rigorous clinical research studies, and health-policy documents. JPM will begin as a quarterly publication with the hope of becoming a monthly journal in the near future. As a theme for the first year of publication, the topic of change has been chosen.

Psycho-Oncologie

Psycho-Oncologie publishes clinical or research articles, metaanalyses, literary reviews, case reports, meeting reports, and book reviews, in medicine, psychology and other fundamental or human sciences (i.e. sociology, anthropology or economy) concerning cancer patients and their families or caregivers. Thematic files are proposed (i.e. in 2004-2005: 'Arts and cancer,' 'Recovery and cancer,' 'Parents with cancer: the child and the truth,' 'Quality of Life Assessment in oncology,' etc.). It is the only journal in French in the area of psycho-oncology.

The journal is a multidisciplinary scientific journal in the field of cancer for oncologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, and all caregivers Psycho-Oncologie is the official organ of the SFPO (French Society of Psychooncology). A special subscription rate is proposed to SFPO members.
