Membership Application
Join the International Psychosocial Oncology Society (IPOS)
and receive the valuable benefits afforded to our members. In
addition to joining an international community of psycho-oncologists,
you will receive a reduced subscription rate to the peer-reviewed,
scientific journal,
Psycho-Oncology, benefit from reduced conference rates, have
access to online resources and educational programs, as well
as numerous
other privileges. Reduced Member-in-Training rates are
also available for students. IPOS Membership is for the
calendar year — membership
is only valid from the time of application through
31 December of the same year.
All IPOS members are eligible to join the Psycho-Oncology
Group of the World Psychiatric Association (WPA) at no additional cost! Simply complete the WPA
Psycho-Oncology Group Application Form and return it to Luigi Grassi MD as instructed on the form.
Residents of low- and middle-income countries, as defined by the World Bank, are eligible for reduced membership dues fees. For information on IPOS membership rates and categories, please visit the Membership Classifications page.
To apply for IPOS Membership:
- To apply online, visit the IPOS Account Management portal. Read the instructions on this webpage and then click the Create Account link at the top of the page to begin.
- To apply via fax or mail, complete the PDF 2010
Membership Application. Applications can be paid using Visa, Master Card
or American Express, or you may submit a check. IMPORTANT
REMINDER: Please enter the billing address EXACTLY as
it appears on the
credit card statement. In order to process the credit
card payment, the credit card billing address must
be verified.
- For Active Membership, send a copy of your curriculum vitae (CV) via e-mail, fax or regular mail to the contact information at the bottom of this page. If
the CV is not sent in a timely fashion, the application
will be processed for
Associate membership.
- For the reduced Member-in-Training rate,
send a copy of the Member-in-Training
Letter
that your Academic Advisor or Department Chair has completed via e-mail, fax or regular mail to the contact information at the bottom of this page.
- Associate Membership does not require a CV or letter.
- Submit the application along with the required payment in US dollars. Applications submitted without payment information
will be considered incomplete.
