The EHealth and AI Special Interest Group (SIG) and the Survivorship SIG of IPOS are organizing this webinar hosted by Savita Goswami (Chair of the IPOS Survivorship SIG Education Committee) and Claire Foster/Tania Estapé (Co-Chairs of the IPOS Ehealth and AI SIG (TBC). It aims to introduce web-based and remotely delivered interventions to support mental health following cancer diagnosis and treatment.
The webinar aims to bring together the international community of researchers and clinicians interested in web-based/remotely delivered mental health support for people affected by cancer to encourage discussion and collaboration across the globe. This webinar will be of interest to both clinicians and researchers who want to know more about remotely delivered mental health support for people living with and beyond cancer.
Prof Lynn Calman, a registered adult and mental health nurse and Co-Director of Centre for Psychosocial Research in Cancer: CentRIC, Health Sciences, University of Southampton, UK will present Can-EMPOWER a web-based intervention sharing information and experiences of psychological and emotional challenges of living with cancer and coping tools and techniques.
Dr. Christina Signorelli, Senior Research Fellow in the Discipline of Paediatrics, School of Clinical Medicine, UNSW Sydney Australia will present on Engage – a remotely delivered intervention to identify cancer survivors’ physical and mental health concerns, with expert recommendations and support navigation to appropriate care.
