Oral Presenters - Poster Presenters
Oral Presenters
Thanks so much for confirming your intention to present an oral presentation at the upcoming 13th World Congress of Psycho-Oncology.
The preliminary program can be found here. (PDF on A3 - updated 5 October 2011)
Please review the program and note your new abstract number and the date and time of your presentation. Your new abstract number will correspond to the listing in the abstract book, which will be published online by Wiley-Blackwell (Psycho-Oncology) and in hard copy in the program book you will receive at the Congress.
Presentation Planning
Please plan your presentation for 20-25 minutes. You each have exactly 30 minutes for introduction, presentation and questions/answers, so you can use that time accordingly. (Each ninety minute session includes three presenters (symposia might have more). A moderator will be there to introduce each speaker and his/her topic.)
Symposium presenters: Please discuss with the symposium chair how you should prepare your presentation and how much time you will have to present. Each symposium is 90 minutes total. Please follow the instructions below regarding your PowerPoint presentation(s).
PowerPoint Presentation Preparation
Presentations should be prepared using Microsoft PowerPoint. If you gave us permission to post your presentation to a private website for all attendees to access, this information will allow our conference attendees the opportunity to download your presentation in notes format (in a secure PDF) as a resource prior to the event. If you have asked us not to post your presentation, we still request your PowerPoint presentation so that we can load it to the computer in your session room prior to your presentation.
PowerPoint presentations are due Tuesday, 27 September 2011.
PowerPoint File Submission Instructions
- Login to the original abstract submission site.
- Click on your abstract title.
- Upload your file to the site (the upload area is available right beneath the title).
