We would like to welcome
you to the IPOS 11th World Congress of Psycho-Oncology in Vienna in June 2009.
The Psychosocial Academy will offer workshops conducted
by leaders in the field, Sunday and Monday, 21 - 22 June 2009.
The Congress, held Tuesday - Thursday, 23 - 25 June 2009, will include symposia,
podium presentations and posters addressing a variety of disciplines
within psychosocial oncology. Training workshops, posters, oral
presentations and symposia are planned.
The annual IPOS World Congress of Psycho-Oncology has attendees who work in psychosocial cancer care. These attendees represent diverse fields from more than 50 countries who dialogue about improving cancer care on an international level and developing strategies to add psychosocial issues to all aspects of cancer control. The attendees include, but are not limited to, those who work as physicians, social workers, nurses, psychologists, rehabilitation specialists, epidemiologists, social scientists and educators.
Congress Announcements:
IPOS is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the IPOS 11th World Congress of Psycho-Oncology for medical specialists. Please see the CME Credits page for more information. CME certificates will be distributed to all Congress attendees in late July or early August.
