Workshop Description:

This Advocacy Academy is targeted to leaders from non-profit and non-governmental organizations that focus on psychosocial support, education and advocacy for cancer patients. The day-long program with faculty from around the world will examine very broad issues including cancer patients’ right to quality cancer care and psychosocial support, and very practical issues including organizational development, board building, fundraising and program innovation and evaluation. It is our goal to establish this Academy as an annual offering of the IPOS Congress.
